Last updated: March 23, 2026
1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the GOGUL platform ("Service") and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.
GOGUL is designed for creative and professional use — storyboarding, image generation, character design, and visual storytelling. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and lawful environment for all users.
We reserve the right to update this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

3.3 Violence and Gore
Realistic depictions of extreme violence, graphic gore, torture, mutilation, or gratuitous cruelty toward humans or animals. This does not prohibit stylized action scenes, historical references, or fictional violence used in legitimate creative storytelling, provided such content does not cross into gratuitous or exploitative territory.
3.4 Non-Consensual Intimate Content
Sexually explicit or intimate imagery of real persons created without their consent, including deepfakes. This applies regardless of whether the depicted person is a public figure or private individual.

Content that promotes, encourages, glorifies, or provides instructions for self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or other forms of self-destructive behavior.
3.6 Harassment and Bullying
Content targeting specific individuals or groups with the intent to harass, threaten, intimidate, bully, or incite hatred. This includes doxxing (sharing private information without consent).

- (b) Content deliberately designed to spread false information that could cause public harm;
- (c) Impersonation of real individuals or organizations;
- (d) Fabricated news articles, documents, or media intended to mislead.
3.9 Illegal Activities
Content that facilitates, promotes, or instructs in the commission of illegal activities, including but not limited to drug trafficking, weapons manufacturing, fraud, money laundering, or human trafficking.
3.10 NSFW and Sexually Explicit Content
3.11 Intellectual Property Infringement
- (a) Generating content that intentionally reproduces copyrighted characters, designs, or artwork (e.g., characters from Disney, Marvel, DC, Nintendo, or other protected properties);
- (b) Reproducing trademarked logos, brand identities, or distinctive trade dress;
- (c) Creating content that you know or should reasonably know infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party.

You may not use the Service on behalf of, or for the benefit of, any person or entity on the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list, the U.S. Department of Commerce's Denied Persons or Entity Lists, or any other applicable restricted party lists.
6. Content Moderation
GOGUL uses a combination of automated systems and human review to detect and enforce compliance with this AUP.
- (a) Automated filters may block certain prompts or generated content that violate this policy. A prompt not being automatically blocked does not mean it is permitted.
- (b) We may review content that is flagged by automated systems, reported by users, or otherwise comes to our attention.
- (c) We may remove or restrict access to content that violates this AUP at our sole discretion, with or without notice.
- (d) Decisions regarding content moderation are made at our sole discretion and are final.
7. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:
- (a) Warning: A notice that your content or behavior violates this AUP;
- (b) Content Removal: Removal of or restriction of access to the violating content;
- (c) Temporary Suspension: Temporary suspension of your account for a specified period;
- (d) Permanent Termination: Permanent termination of your account and access to the Service;
- (e) Legal Action: Referral to law enforcement or initiation of legal proceedings where appropriate.
The severity of enforcement action will depend on the nature, severity, and frequency of the violation. Severe violations — including CSAM, terrorism, and threats of real-world violence — will result in immediate account termination without prior warning and may be reported to law enforcement.
No refund will be issued for accounts terminated due to violations of this AUP.
8. Appeals
If you believe that enforcement action was taken against your account in error, you may submit an appeal to support@gogul.ai within 14 days of the action. Your appeal should include your account email, a description of the action taken, and your explanation of why you believe the action was in error.
We will review appeals in good faith and respond within 14 business days. Our decision on appeals is final.
9. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior on the Service that you believe violates this AUP, please report it to us at:
Email: support@gogul.ai
When reporting, please include:
- (a) A description of the violation;
- (b) Any relevant screenshots or links;
- (c) The username or account information of the user involved (if known).
We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reporters will not be penalized for making good faith reports.
10. Acknowledgment
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy. You understand that violations may result in enforcement action up to and including permanent account termination and referral to law enforcement.
